Random Thoughts On: Art, Craft, and Reality
In Random Thoughts on July 7, 2008 at 8:43 amCraft is about making things by hand. Fine craft is concerned with making objects of beauty of the highest caliber of construction. Fine art is about expressing the inexpressible. Visual art is about manifesting the poetics of the inexpressible into the realm of sight and consciousness. Interdisciplinary art is concerned with conversations between schools of thought and creating new pathways of understanding by connecting isolated realities.
I am an interdisciplinary artist. My work is situated between the realm of craft and art.
