work in progress: scarab bead neckpiece
Quick note because I have to dash. I am working on a new neckpiece. A series of scarab beads made of paper and plastic. The overall design is made cohesive by the color teal. As I’m working with the beads on the mannequin, the neckpiece feels like an object, but when I try the neckpiece on, it transforms into this thing that a priestess might have worn in the old days. I think I finally understand what jewelry historians mean when they speak of jewelry and its relationship to the body…
